Introduction:
A novel remedial strategy (Cluster-Hub-Receiver) enabled re-use of excavated soils on a nearby development project. Robust assessment enabled reliable decisions and appropriate remedial strategies.
In addition, we conducted a tour of the project for local LA and NRW officers.

From early due diligence assessment it became clear that the soils in residential gardens presented a Significant Potential of Significant Harm to site users. A robust investigation was implemented along with discussion with relevant stakeholders, including the client, residents and regulators including the Local Authority, Natural Resources Wales and Public Health Wales.
