World Environment Day #OnlyOneEarth

On Sunday 5th June, ESP will be celebrating World Environment Day with this year’s campaign being #OnlyOneEarth. This international event has 150 countries across the United Nations promoting one common goal, raising awareness and celebrating environmental action. The event has taken place annually since 1973 and has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach.
One of the ways in which ESP helps organisations protect the environment in which they work is through an Environmental Impact Assessment. At ESP, we have the expertise to assist organisations in achieving continual improvement with the implementation, auditing and reporting of your environmental management systems. We can supply a range of environmental services to ensure environmental compliance is achieved in a sustainable and effective manner. We always consider the environment in our own works too. ESP is committed to carrying out all projects and works while adhering to the strictest of environmental best practices.
Looking back, we have participated in and implemented some excellent ways in which we can protect and restore our #OnlyOneEarth. In 2021, we joined the SME Climate Hub Campaign, and committed to becoming a UK Business Climate Action Leader. In 2020, we sponsored World Land Trust, planting 100 trees and securing 5 acres of land to protect our planet’s vital rainforests.
In our local community of Taffs Well, we donated large wooden core and sample soil boxes to be recycled as planters for the Outdoor Community Project. This encouraged the wildlife to thrive in their newly built flower beds, bat boxes and bug house.
We look forward to celebrating World Environment Day in hope that others are inspired to join. To find out more, click here.
