ESP Contributions to Understanding
ESP produces its own technical briefings, containing updates on recent guidance and how these have been translated into effective strategies for site development or risk management. ESP also dedicates resources to improving knowledge and understanding within the industry and beyond through contributions to academic journals and other publications. Two selected technical notes are provided below.

Interactions of Engineering and Geology: The Hidden Landscapes of the Severn Levels
Since 2003, the author has been responsible for hundreds of engineering geology projects across Europe and in the Middle East, including ongoing land evaluation on the Severn Levels. This paper examined engineering geology complexities, interactions and options for management.
